North Carolina’s unemployment rate fell in March to 4.6 percent from 5.1 percent, according to not-seasonally adjusted figures released today by the N.C. Employment Security Commission. Not-seasonally adjusted figures don’t take into account normal fluctuations, such as higher retail hiring during holiday seasons or lower construction employment typically seen during winter months.Save to My Web
